Takashi Sasaki『Spicy Herbal Ambience』

積丹スピリットのアブサンと札幌のはらっぱカレー店によるマリアージュイベント、「辛くないカレー、香り良いお酒、心地よい音楽」にて、その時々のフードやドリンクの提供にぴったりと寄り添う形で4時間に渡り即興で演奏されたライブ音源。その中から心地よいシーンを厳選しました。
このサウンドスケープには、Shimmerリバーブで彩られたサイレント・クラシックギター、Looperで生み出されたアンビエント・ギターのループ、そして後半に向かって徐々に加わるvolca fmによる即興のシンセサイザーのシーケンスが含まれています。
また、偶然の面白さを感じさせる要素として、はらっぱカレー店で使用された玉ねぎは、今回リリースするKitorina Recordsの拠点である栗山町から仕入れられたものです。この作品の制作過程そのものが点と点をつなぎ合わせるような興味深い結果となり、特別な意味を感じさせるものとなりました。

At the event “Not-So-Spicy Curry, Fragrant Drinks, and Comforting Music,” hosted by Shakotan Spirit and Sapporo’s Harappa Curry Shop, a four-hour live improvisation was performed to complement the food and drinks served. From that session, we carefully selected the most atmospheric and serene moments.
The soundscape combines a silent classical guitar enhanced with shimmering reverb, ambient guitar loops created with a looper, and improvisational synth sequences introduced through a volca fm.
Adding a touch of serendipity, the onions used in Harappa Curry Shop’s dishes were sourced from Kuriyama Town, the home base of Kitorina Records. The creative process became a journey of connecting the dots, resulting in a work filled with unique significance.
